Article 1 — Scope
These terms govern the relationship between Equidesk (the publisher) and any legal entity or individual taking out a licence for the Equidesk Pro software or a subscription to the Equidesk Club online service (hereinafter the "Client").
Article 2 — Description of the service
Equidesk covers two distinct kinds of service.
Equidesk Pro — software installed on the Client's computer:
- Timing and management of equestrian events (show jumping and endurance)
- Windows, macOS and Linux; works without an internet connection
- Inter-member, Official and International plans
- Online publication of results, when the Client triggers it
Equidesk Club — an online service, accessed through a browser, with nothing to install:
- Club: members, lessons, instructors, lesson cards
- Invoicing for the facility and a portal for its clients
- A combined plan covering both
Article 3 — Pricing
Current plans are shown on the pricing page. Prices are expressed in Algerian dinars (DZD).
Equidesk reserves the right to change its prices with 60 days’ notice before renewal.
Article 4 — Set-up fees
No set-up fee is charged. Initial onboarding and demonstration are included.
Article 5 — Payment methods
- Bank transfer (details provided)
- Card payment: CIB / Edahabia via SATIM
The licence is issued once payment has actually been received.
Article 6 — Term and renewal
The subscription is annual and renews automatically. The Client is notified by email 30 days before the renewal date.
Termination is possible at any time by email to contact@equidesk.app. It takes effect at the next renewal date, with no pro-rata refund except in exceptional circumstances.
Article 7 — Licence of use
Each Equidesk Pro licence grants use of the software on one computer, identified by a hardware fingerprint.
The Club subscription is attached to a facility rather than to a computer: it is used from any browser, by the people the facility authorises.
To activate the software on a new computer, simply contact us — migration is free and unlimited.
Any resale, sharing or duplication of the licence code is prohibited and results in immediate termination without refund.
Article 8 — Right of withdrawal
The professional Client has 14 days from subscription to withdraw without having to give reasons.
To exercise this right: an email to contact@equidesk.app within 14 days. Full refund within 14 days.
This period does not apply where the service has already been used significantly.
Article 9 — Availability
Equidesk targets 99.5 % availability for the online services. The installed software works offline and remains usable even when the online services are unavailable.
Any planned maintenance is announced by email 48 hours in advance.
Article 10 — Liability
Equidesk applies its best technical efforts to guarantee the quality of the service. It cannot be held liable for:
- Data loss caused by a failure of the Client's hardware
- Outages attributable to a third party (internet provider, host, payment provider)
- Data-entry errors made by the Client
- Jury or ranking decisions — Equidesk is a tool, not a decision-maker
Any compensation is capped at one year of subscription in the event of proven fault.
Article 11 — Client's data
The Client remains the owner of all data they enter — riders, horses, results, and for the online services their members, owners, contracts and invoices. Equidesk provides an export on request.
For data concerning the Client's own clients (members, owners), the Client is the controller; Equidesk processes it on their behalf and according to their instructions.

Article 12 — Changes to the software
The software evolves regularly. Updates to the current version are included in the subscription. A major evolution may give rise to a reasonable upgrade fee.
Article 13 — Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Algerian law. Any dispute will be brought before the courts of Algiers, after a mandatory attempt at amicable resolution.
Article 14 — Acceptance
Confirming an order or activating a licence constitutes full acceptance of these terms.
The French text is authoritative. In the event of any discrepancy between language versions, the French version prevails.
